Vaðall is a choreographic duo founded in 2000 by Aðalheiður Halldórsdóttir and Valgerður Rúnarsdóttir.
Their work Var það Gangári? premiered in Reykjavík as a guided tour around the city — a site-specific dance performance combining movement, theatre, music, and live interventions. The main performer, Ragnar Ísleifur Bragason, led the audience through the city as their guide, while more than fifty performers took part in the piece.
The performance unfolded in various urban locations — both indoors and outdoors — including shop windows, playgrounds, galleries, and private homes.
Var það Gangári? premiered at the Reykjavík Dance Festival in September 2009 and was later performed in smaller towns around Iceland, including Höfn and Flateyri.
